Cactus Fly In 

Saturday, March 1st, beginning at 9am 


Seminars will be located indoors, in the large hangar just south of the fuel pit and directly east of the terminal building parking lot.

Fly in or Drive in - We look forward to seeing you there! 

WINGS credit is available for all of these seminars. 

The schedule will be: 

  • 9 am Aircraft Airworthiness and Aviation Insurance by Jon Harden

  • 10 am Flying in the Arizona Backcountry , Update on on RAF and APA Backcountry Activities by Mark Spencer

  • 11 am Back To Basics, It Could Happen To You ; The Hazards of Flying off Arizona Backcountry Strips by Dave Dunteman

  • 12 noon FAA Safety Team and Wings Discussion by Jim Anderson and Cary Grant

  • 1 pm Arizona Game and Fish Aviation Division will discuss how they plan and use their aircraft in support of their mission throughout the diverse conditions found in the state, by Bill David

  • 2 pm Mountain Flying : Pilot skills needed to avoid the hazards of flying in the mountains, by Wayne Fischer

  • 3 pm Aging Aircraft: Flying and Maintaining Aging Aircraft by Pike Kelly
