TUS/RYN Pilot-Controller Forum
Hear from ATC Controllers at KTUS and KRYN, and discuss best safety practices.

Brief Description:
Communications are so important in aviation. Come learn how both sides of the radio can improve by getting answers from Tucson Tower, Tucson Approach Control, Ryan Tower and the Scottsdale FSDO. The seminar will begin with a presentation on recent events in the Tucson airspace and at Tucson airports. ATC Controllers will also be able to answer questions, and get their questions answered by pilots in attendance!
We will additionally discuss a newly published guide for practice areas near TUS and RYN, as well as a new guide on operations at TUS.

Our thanks to the Pima Community College for the use of this meeting space. And to the Tucson Tower, Tucson Approach Control, Ryan Tower and the Scottsdale FSDO for providing experts to answer questions from pilots. Panel members from the Tucson Tower, TRACON, Ryan Tower, and the FSDO will give advice to the many questions, such as: "why do we........?" This will be a great time for pilots and controllers to interact and learn from each other.
