Brief Description:
Did you know that Parachute Drop Zones between PHX and TUS take up over 3,000 square miles of airspace? Are you aware of the dangers and what to check prior to flying through them? We'll refresh your memory and give some tips to keep you safe from colliding with a skydiver or jump aircraft. Also, we will discuss uncontrolled pattern operations with some case studies and review of best practices to prevent a NMAC.

From Tucson - Use I-10 Westbound

Follow I-10 West to Phoenix.
Follow I-10 to Exit 109, S. Palo Verde Rd. / Sun Valley Pkwy.

Follow I-17 S toward Phoenix.
