\n\n\nAdditional Event Information & A
cknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):\nOur thanks to the Pima Community Co
llege Aviation Technology training facility for the use of their space for
this seminar.\n\n\nNew regulations require consumers and commercial users t
o register all sUAS weighing approximately 1/2 pound or more, using the the
FAA online registration system. Compliance with this requirement and the r
esulting safety procedures are easy for the consumer hobbyist to meet. Comm
ercial and government users have additional requirements to meet. The prima
ry function of the new regulations regarding registration is to help promot
e a sense of safe use and awareness of the National Airspace System(NAS).\n
\n\nThe Tucson FAA Safety Team representatives are holding this safety semi
nar specifically for the non-pilot community and interested pilots. The off
icial and current FAA information regarding sUAS safe flying practices and
integration into the NAS will be presented. All current or potential users
of sUAS are welcome to attend.\n\n\nThere will be a door prize of a DJI Pha
ntom awarded by random drawing.. All who attend will receive a raffle ticke
t as they register at the door on the day of the seminar. The winner must b
e present to win. WINGS credit for pilots is also available.\n\n\nProf. Dav
id G Iadevaia, a FAASteam Representative for sUAS will give the presentatio
n, and several other members will be available to answer questions.\n\n\nTh
e door prize was generously donated by Airborne Precision Imaging-Arizona,
a Tucson based FAA 333 authorized sUAS company.\n\n\nEqual Access Informati
