 . The Phoenix area is the ideal location for a mid-winter seminar, with ple
 nty of dirt strips, warm weather, and scenery. The details are still in the
  works, but the flying will be done at many of the numerous dirt strips aro
 und the area.\nSTOL Tips seminar is coming to Arizona February 11 and 12 an
 d will meet at AK-CHIN regional airport (A39) Saturday morning at 8 AM shar
 p at the East end of the terminal building in the kitchen area.  We ha
 ve secured a block of rooms Friday night at the Holiday Inn Casa Grande, bo
 ok your room under the STOL Tips Seminar name and you will get a group disc
 ount of $109 plus tax.  Call Johanne Simms at 520-426-3500 and book yo
 ur room for Friday night.  Saturday night we will be staying at the fa
 ntastic Francisco Grande hotel and we also have a discounted rate.  Ca
 ll Michelle at 520-381-8101 to book your special group rate.  A normal
  room is $109 plus tax, while an executive suite is $129 plus tax.  Th
 ere is an option to spend both nights at Francisco Grande, but we would lik
 e to discuss the approach and landing if you choose to come in  Friday
 .  We will have an informal meet and greet Saturday evening after flyi
 ng at Dukes Lounge at the resort. Sunday morning breakfast at the restauran
 t will be followed by more flying.  The goal of this seminar is to tea
 ch you more about the limits of your aircraft and to be able to nail a spot

 are two options available for attendees: ground school only, offered at a d
 iscounted rate, or ground school plus flight training. The seminar size is 
 not limited however flight training is limited to 20 seats in order to ensu
 re that each participant receives adequate instructor time. The cost per pa
 rticipant is $725 for the full course or $250 for ground school only. A non
 -refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your seat. Fees cover travel 
 and lodging costs for the instructors. Please note, the seminar is continge
 nt upon securing a minimum pilot commitment. If we are unable to meet the m
 inimum pilot participation your deposit will be refunded.\n\n\nSeats for th
 e flight training are "first come first serve." Upon completing this regist
 ration form, your information will be reviewed by Backcountry Aviation whic
 h reserves the right to refuse flight training to anyone whose experience o
 r aircraft type is not suitable for the flight training. Someone from Backc
 ountry Aviation will contact you to confirm your registration and collect y
 our deposit, which must be received within 4 days in order to secure your s
 eat. Failure to receive the deposit within the allotted time will result in
