\n\n\nAdditional Event
Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):\nThe AZ FAASTeam
is being supported by, and we'd like to recognize, the Falcon Field Airpor
t Director, Corinne Nystrom, the Copperstate Fly-In Board of Directors, the
CopperState Fly-In Forums Chair John Harlow and the Treasurer and Exhibit
Chairman Marty Kirkhuff for their personal contributions to the FAASTeam. T
hey provide facilities, personnel and logistical support for this annual FA
ASTeam seminar conducted as part of the CopperState Fly-In attracting airme
n from all over Arizona.\n\n\n*Seminar runs approximately 09:00 A.M.--11:00
A.M.*\n\n\nAll Forums during Copperstate are included in the price of Admi
ssion. There is not a separate fee to attend any of the forums.\n\n\nRunway
incursions are a major factor in aviation safety. While many things have b
een done to reduce the accident rate in General Aviation and the Air Carrie
r Industry, both sides of the aviation house are still experiencing far too
many runway incursions. This could be the result of "Read back - Hear back
" issues, poor airport signage, pilot inattention/knowledge or a combinatio
n of factors. Runway safety is a major concern for all pilots and if you ha
ve been around aviation for a long period of time you have probably seen so
me close calls on the runways and taxiways, or even been involved in some y
ourself. Come learn about this Airport and give your input to the Team so t
hey can work on improving the airport for all who fly there.\n\n\nPilot air
space deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace syste
m. To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation
incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center cou
rse such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov. Or search the
learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions. Remember,
safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness and have a plan
to keep it that way. PDA_Flyer.pdf under (Additional Public Documents) bel
