 anges, markings, lighting, electrical, signage, and procedures. The team wi
 ll also discuss open and recently closed action items, and review runway in
 cursions and surface deviations that have occurred in the past 12 months. T

  for 14 miles, the airport will be on the right.\n\n\nDriving: I-19 northbo
 und take exit 95, Valencia Rd. At the top of the ramp turn left and head we
 st approximately 14 miles. Valencia Rd. ends at W. Ajo Highway at the airpo
 rt's east entrance. Turn left onto W. Ajo Highway. The terminal is approxim

 ctor in aviation safety. While many things have been done to reduce the acc
 ident rate in General Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, both sides of 
 the aviation house are still experiencing far too many runway incursions. T
 his could be the result of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor airport sig
 nage, pilot inattention/knowledge, expectation bias, or a combination of fa
 ctors. Runway safety is a major concern for all pilots and if you have been
  around aviation for a long period of time you have probably seen some clos
 e calls on the runways and taxiways, or even been involved in some yourself
 .\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the nationa
 l airspace system. To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an ai
 rspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line lea
 rning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on www.faasafety.gov
 , or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incurs
 ions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness
