 anges, markings, lighting, electrical, signage, and procedures. The team wi
 ll also discuss open and recently closed action items, and review runway in
 cursions and surface deviations that have occurred in the past 12 months. T

 jor factor in aviation safety. While many things have been done to reduce t
 he accident rate in General Aviation and the Air Carrier Industry, both sid
 es of the aviation house are still experiencing far too many runway incursi
 ons. This could be the result of "Read back - Hear back" issues, poor airpo
 rt signage, pilot inattention/knowledge, expectation bias, or a combination
  of factors. Runway safety is a major concern for all pilots and if you hav
 e been around aviation for a long period of time you have probably seen som
 e close calls on the runways and taxiways, or even been involved in some yo
 urself.\n\n\nPilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the n
 ational airspace system. To reduce the chance that you might be involved in
  an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-li
 ne learning center course such as ALC 42, ALC 154, and ALC90 on www.faasafe
 ty.gov, or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace 
 incursions. Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awa
