 r as a pilot in 1994. She holds an ATP in multi and single engine fixed-win

 \n\n\nIn 2014, Sarah began her legal career, becoming founder and managing 
 attorney of Nilsson Law, PLLC. Since 2015, she has been full-time faculty a
 t Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, Arizona, teachin
 g Aviation Law, Global UAS Regulations, Global UAS Risk Management, UAS Gro
 und School, How to start a small UAS Business, Business Law, and Business E
 thics. Sarah volunteers as a FAA Safety Team Representative with the Scotts
 dale Flight Standards District Office (FSDO).\n\n\nSarah is co-author of th
 e 6th and soon to be published 7th edition of Practical Aviation and Aerosp
 ace Law, with Scott Hamilton. In 2017, she published her own book on U.S. D
 rone Law for the American Bar Association entitled Drones Across America. S
 he makes multiple media appearances as an expert in UAS regulation, law, an
 d policy and has published many articles and research documents for the FAA
