Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of
Industry Sponsor(s):*Note: Prior to attending a safety seminar please
review and abide by current CDC, State and Local health guidelines.\nThis e
vent is sponsored and hosted by the Local EAA/VMC Club and the FAA Saf
ety Team.\nWhat is the EAA/VMC Club?\nThe EAA/VMC Club is modeled&nbsp
;after the popular IMC Club concept which provides organized “han
gar flying” focused on building proficiency in instrument flying. The
EAA/VMC Club will do the same, but for pilots who are not instrument rated
and fly primarily under visual flight rules and VMC.\nWhat is the
purpose of EAA/VMC Club?\nAt EAA/VMC Club, our aim is to promote VFR
flying, proficiency, and safety. Along with monthly local meetings, w
e offer a resource-rich website which provides an electronic experience bas
e.\nOur intent is to create a community of pilots to share information, pro
vide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficien
cy in general aviation. EAA/VMC Club offers monthly meetings in which
pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.\nDo you need to br
ing anything?\nFirst, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share
them with the group. This meeting is very interactive. Particip
ation by the group is a fundamental element of the EAA/VMC Club m
eeting.\nOthers have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight
manual, GPS manual, and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring
it along.\nWho can attend?\nThis meeting is open to all current, non-curren
t, and future pilots.\nFor more information about the EAA/VMC Club, please
visit http://www.eaa.org/VMCclub\nEqual Access Information:The FAA Saf
ety Team (FAASTeam) is committed to providing equal access to this meeting/
event for all participants. If you need alternative formats or services bec
ause of a disability, please communicate your request as soon as possible w
